About TURNTABLE ACCESSORIES
A cartridge (sometimes referred to as a phonograph cartridge or phono cartridge) is, at its basic level, an electromechanical transducer. It turns the mechanical movement of the needle (stylus) in the record groove into an electrical signal. There are two basic designs of a cartridge: moving magnet and moving coil.
RECORD AND CARTRIDGES CARE: A small, soft brush or a can of compressed air can dislodge dust from hard-to-reach areas. Clean the Platter: Before and after playing records, wipe the platter with a damp cloth and dry it thoroughly. Avoid using harsh chemicals. Keep the dust cover down whenever possible to prevent dust from gathering.
